Graduating from nursing school is a hard enough task on its own, but to fully be accepted in the nursing world one must pass the National Council Licensure Examination. After years of college in a back ground of nursing and science study someone may automatically assume they have passed with flying scores but this may not be the case if they don’t pass the NCLEX to get an entry-level job after college. Studies have shown that a high GPA and hands-on nursing experiences may result in passing NCLEX scores but what if someone does not have the time to wait 6 weeks for the results?

There is one answer: The Pearson Vue Trick

Having to wait a month and a half for the NCLEX results can be a nerve racking process but by using the PVT you can have results in as little as 48 hours after you take your test. I shall walk you through this process with step by step directions that have been proven to be 99% accurate. But first, let me give you a few ways that you can be sure to pass the NCLEX before going into the testing room.

Getting Hands-On Experience

During college many nursing schools offer accelerated programs for their top students that offer hands-on experience in the nursing field that may be useful on the NCLEX exam; increasing your chances of passing the exam. The Journal of the New York State Nurses Association has stated that, “Most participants reported that their hands on experiences in the clinical setting were instrumental to their success.”

Not only is this method useful in finding what tasks best suit you as a future nurse but it also is proven to increase your chances of passing the NCLEX.

Practice Example NCLEX Test Questions

The expression Practice Makes Perfect is not only cliche but also applies to the NCLEX exam. Utilizing online resources such as Kaplan Test Prep, Nurse Plus Academy and Khan Academy is the fastest route to ensure a positive test score on the NCLEX without having to pay hundreds of dollars on a tutor.

Studying these practice questions can also be a large benefit leading up to your test date; which increases your chances of passing the test buy a large amount.

PVT Trick Step-by-Step

Now, for the Pearson Vue Trick! (These steps should be followed only with the assumption you have taken your NCLEX and that you live in the U.S.A.)

  1. Check Your Email: After you have taken your test you should receive an email for confirmation that your testing center has been noticed of the completion of the test.
  2. Go to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and click on the “Sign-In” option.
  3. You should now be taken to the The NCLEX® Examination Page. (Do not worry, you are still on track) From there click on “Sign-In” in the top right hand corner of the page.
  4. Fill out your personal information on the sign in page in the Username and Password text box.
  5. You should now be taken to a page titled “Home.” Click on the “Start the Registration Process” to begin. The following page will have you select which exam you are looking to take; select the first option.*
  6. Notice for this form you will have to pay $200.00 if you fail because they will charge your debit/credit card BUT there is a way to override this and get your results for free!
  7. 3 questions should pop up along with a section for you to fill out your personal information and where you have gone to school. Make sure you answer them as truthfully as possible.
  8. The last and final step is the most important one of all. The payment info section. For this, you will need to enter all the correct information on your card EXCEPT for the correct date of expiration. This will allow for the NCSBN system to go through the the PVT and not charge you the $200.

*make sure you select the NCLEX-RN exam.

Final Result Statements:

After you click “submit” from step 8, one of the two options should pop up at the top of your screen.

Option 1: Our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.

Congratulations! This means you’ve passed.

Option 2: The payment was declined. Reason: Contact your credit card company or use a different credit card.

Sadly, this option means that you either did not pass or that your testis being reviewed a second time for grading.

As with anything in life, the results of an important exam can make it or break it for some people. Luckily, in most states you can take the NCLEX an unlimited amount of times!
